Privacy Policy

Dernière mise à jour: 29 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aravir Technologies Private Limited ("AGMS", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Aravir Garage Management System web application, mobile applications and this website (together, the "Service"). AGMS is business software used by salvage yards and garages to run their operations; it is not directed at children.

We act as a data controller for the account and website information described below, and as a data processor for the business records our customers (garages and yards) store in the Service on behalf of their own customers.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to work:

  • Account details — your name, business name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password when you register or are invited to a workspace.
  • Business records you enter — vehicles, parts, inventory, orders, invoices, jobs, customers and communications you create while using the Service. You control this content.
  • Billing information — your plan, subscription status and payment references. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (Stripe for UK/EU customers, Razorpay for India); we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage & device data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security, rate-limiting and diagnostics, kept for a limited period.
  • Cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in and a small number of preference cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect precise location, and the Service contains no third-party advertising and no advertising identifiers.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Service and its features.
  • To process your subscription, take payment and send receipts and service notices.
  • To secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse (authentication, rate-limiting).
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To send you service and, where you have opted in, product or marketing messages — you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers ("sub-processors") that help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Stripe — subscription payment processing for UK/EU customers and, where enabled, storefront checkout.
  • Razorpay — subscription payment processing for customers in India and, where enabled, storefront checkout.
  • Cloud hosting provider — the servers that run the Service and this website.
  • Email & SMS providers — to deliver transactional and opted-in messages.
  • Marketplace & motoring services — only when you connect them (e.g. eBay, Amazon, DVSA MOT lookups) and only the data needed for that integration.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and property of AGMS, our customers or others.

5. International transfers

Aravir Technologies Private Limited is incorporated in India, and some of our providers operate in other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) and take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep account and business information for as long as your account is active. When you close your account we delete or de-identify your data as described in our Account Deletion page, except records we are required to keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons (for example invoices), which we retain for the statutory period and then delete.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, strict database access controls with per-tenant isolation, rate-limiting and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and to notify you of a material breach where the law requires.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Account owners can export or erase buyer data directly from the console. To exercise any right, email us at hello@aravir.in and we will respond within the time the law requires.

9. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the Service.
